Thank you to all the students who have reached out to us with their concerns about the Summer Licensing Exams. While we have absorbed the long-term concerns about licensing exams as a barrier for many students, we have also been working on addressing the short-term concerns for students writing the exams this summer. We encourage you to continue sending in your questions and concerns via our website and by email to info@lsso.ca.
In light of this, the LSSO is facilitating a moderated webinar with a panel of students who wrote the online Licensing Exams in the 2020-2021 licensing cycle, and representatives from the LSO Licensing & Accreditation Department, with whom we have raised these issues directly. These panelists will be able to directly address students’ concerns about the online exams, the rules, and accommodations where necessary, among other concerns. The session will be in a Q&A format and is expected to last about an hour.
The event will be held on Wednesday, May 19, at 12pm. The Zoom link for the event will be sent to attendees in advance of the event.
